Historic farm next to The
Sognefjord

 

Kroken farm is beautifully situated in the outer part of the village of Kroken (Luster municipality) in Sogn. Kroken is one of 4 small villages along "The romantic road" on the south side of Lustrafjorden, the inner part of the Sognefjord. The Sognefjord is the longest and the deepest fjord in Europe.
Kroken farm is located midway between Urnes Stave Church and Feigumfossen, only 10 min. drive each way.


We are offering accommodation in our farmhouse. Kroken farm is located in a unique and rare cultural landscape next to The Sognefjord. We have a great view to the fjord and the mountains around.

Johannes Flintoe: Frå Ytre Kroken i Luster 1819

Johannes Flintoe visited Kroken in 1819. He painted captain Munthe in his boat. Perhaps he was comming from Urnes Stave Church?
